Packing list generator

# What should I pack?

Tell it how long you are going, what the weather is likely to do and what you have planned. You get a grouped checklist with quantities to tick off as things go in the bag.

## How the list is worked out

Clothes are counted per day: a top for each day, underwear and socks for each day plus a spare, trousers or a skirt for every three days and sleepwear for every four nights. Counting stops at a week of clothes (five days for carry-on only), because past that point one wash weighs less than a bigger bag. The list then adds travel wash and says how many days it covers; the [laundry planner](https://breezybundle.shop/travel-laundry-planner/) works out exact numbers for your wash days.

Weather adds layers: a coat, thermals and gloves for cold or snow, a waterproof for rain, shorts and a sun hat for heat. Each plan adds its own group, such as beach towels, hiking socks or work outfits. Kids get a per-child list with spare outfits. For a baby, nappies are counted from the number a day you type in, for the journey and the first three days.

Tick items as they go in the bag. Ticks and your extra items are saved in this browser only, so you can close the page and carry on later. Copy the list into a notes app or print it.

## More tools for the bag

Weigh it, check the liquids, plan the washing, print the list.

- [Luggage weight converter](https://breezybundle.shop/luggage-weight-converter/): Kilograms to pounds and back, plus a running total of your bag against the allowance on your booking.
- [Carry-on liquids checker](https://breezybundle.shop/carry-on-liquids-checker/): Each bottle against the 100 ml / 3.4 oz rule, and whether it all fits in one clear bag.
- [Travel laundry planner](https://breezybundle.shop/travel-laundry-planner/): Say when you can wash and see how few clothes you can get away with.
- [Printable packing checklist](https://breezybundle.shop/printable-packing-checklist/): Pick sections, add your own lines and print a clean tick-box list.

## Questions

**Does the list remember what I have packed?**

Yes, on this device. Your trip settings, ticks and extra items are kept in your browser's local storage and never uploaded. Use Untick all to start again for the trip home, or clear this site's data in your browser to remove them.

**Why does a two-week trip get only a week of clothes?**

Carrying fourteen of everything is heavy and rarely needed. The list packs for seven days (five for carry-on only) and assumes one wash on the way. If you would rather not wash at all, add the extra clothes as your own items.

**What does carry-on only change?**

Toiletries switch to travel sizes, a clear bag for liquids is added, clothes stop at five days and you are reminded to wear your bulkiest shoes. Liquid limits differ between airports, so check yours with the carry-on liquids checker.
